Dear all, well we are two months in to the new life of The Turks Head. We have been so pleased with the reaction from our fabulous customers to the pub and our restaurant. Chef Mauli has created amazing frequently changing menus, we’ve developed a great wine list and the bar team have been selecting exciting, ever changing beers from our great local breweries.

December was a very busy month and we hosted lots of Christmas parties for families, friends and businesses, which was enormous fun. Buckshee played us into the New Year. We had a brilliant party and a riotous conga through the bar at midnight!

We had our first quiz night on 13th Jan, which was a huge success, thanks to our great quiz master. We will be hosting another one in the next few months.

We have some great events and menus planned for the next few months. We will have some Scottish flavour on our menu, in tribute to Burns Night, on Saturday 23rd, Sunday 24th and of course Monday 25th. Valentines day is a Sunday this year, so we will have a special valentines menu available on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th in the evening, as well as our usual menu. On 24th Feb we will be hosting a tasting menu with seven courses and a wine expert guiding us through a delicious tipple with each course.
